If you play Duke Nukem Forever, you’ll be slapped in the face by reality. If you never play it, at least in your mind it will always be everything you ever wanted. I think the same thing can be said for videogames that have accrued over a decade of expectations and hype. They say you should never meet your heroes, as you’ll only ever be disappointed.
